Evelyn is ONE! I cant believe how fast this past year has gone. She has changed so much in only 365 days! We had a great day planning and then celebrating her big day!
Started the morning with balloons and a smoothie. She originally had 3 balloons but as you can see the pink one deflated over night. After breakfast we headed to Toni's house for brunch. We had waffles with bananas, strawberries and Nutella. Evelyn loved it, especially the Nutella, and playing with her friends.
I then caved and let her have spaghetti for lunch. She loves it, but it makes such a mess.
Post nap play time.
She loved her balloons. It is funny how this girl has lots of fun and exciting toys, but the balloon trumps them all.
Birthday cake made by momma and presents from family! Evelyn is one lucky girl to have a slew of family members who love her so much.
The cake was so fun to make. I wanted to make her a "pretty" cake and I think this hit it. It was actually easier to frost the cake like this than it was to frost a regular cake.
Pretty pink cake.
PRESENTS! After we took the birthday girl out to eat at Pei Wei we came home and opened her gifts. She loves to receive new toys and clothes. She could care less about the wrapping paper and boxes all she wants is the item inside :)
Doll from Grandma and Grandpa Reber
Mom having fun with the wrapping paper. This was a great gift from my cousins Jerzie and Nash. It was a great outfit and a tambourine, which she loves!
A quiet book! I made this for Evelyn over the last year to help us get through church. So far she loves it.
Great new clothes from Grandma and Grandpa Almquist
Time to eat the cake. She was a little timid at first, but then dug right in and ate away. Her cake was fun fetti with vanilla frosting, one of her dad's favorite kinds :)
Happy Birthday beautiful, smart, hilarious, and sweet baby girl Evelyn!
